The BRILLIANT TOOLS thread repair set BT541150 is excellently suited for repairing damaged or worn threads. It can quickly and easily repair threads of various sizes. First, the old thread must be drilled out with the twist drill on the desired size. Then the thread must be cut for the thread insert. The manual installation tool can be used for inserting the thread insert. When the thread insert is positioned, the mandrel can be removed along the predetermined breaking point with the tang break off tool.
